If you apply to us for a quotation for a valuation or survey, please note that in doing so you accept our legitimate interest in using the information you have supplied. We will hold this information for as long as necessary in providing you with services (remembering that professional indemnity and other liability claims can take years to settle) and in meeting our regulatory and RICS obligations.

When we process your personal information, we consider and balance potential impact on you (both positive and negative), and your rights under data protection laws. Our legitimate business interests do not automatically override your interests and we will not use your personal data for activities where our interests are overridden by the impact on you (unless we have your consent or are otherwise required or permitted by law).

IDENTIFICATION NUMBERS

We may store a unique identification number, username and login status in our central database. The identification number can be retained and utilised to track the jobs that we have undertaken for you, to track progress and cross reference to our accountancy records.

We are publishing this information because UK legislation requires us to disclose how we use clients’ data and to reassure clients that we will not disclose their data for marketing or any other purposes without their formal consent.

We would never pass on your data to a third party for marketing purposes or data analysis.
